Claude Code has no separate subscription: it is included in paid Claude plans such as Pro, Max 5x and Max 20x, and the free plan does not include it. Buying Claude Code in Hong Kong means activating one of those monthly plans on a Claude account you control.
Claude Code is Anthropic's coding tool inside the paid plans. It reads your project, runs commands and edits files from your terminal, IDE or the desktop app. The three individual plans differ in relative usage per session, the default model in Claude Code and the room left under the weekly limit, not in features.
Most people start on Pro, move to Max 5x when they still hit limits mid-task after trimming context, and consider Max 20x only when 5x keeps running out. The table shows official US prices with their check date beside our HKD service totals; read the eligibility check further down before paying.
5x and 20x are per-session multiples of Pro, not fixed message counts, and the weekly limit does not necessarily scale the same way. Every plan resets its session limit every five hours and has a weekly limit across all models; Claude Code, claude.ai and the desktop app all draw on the same allowance.

Start small and upgrade on /usage evidence and limit messages; it usually costs less than buying the top plan first.
Anthropic's install documentation says Claude Code requires a Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise or Console (API) account and that the free Claude.ai plan does not include it. The free plan can still explain an error or write a snippet in chat, but it cannot read your repository, run tests or edit several files for you.
Besides the monthly plans, Claude Code can use an Anthropic Console (API) account billed at standard API rates. A so-called API relay is a third party reselling API usage: your prompts and code pass through the relay's servers before they reach the model.
A plan trades a fixed monthly fee for capped usage, with Anthropic handling your data directly. A relay is metered, but you cannot verify which model it calls or whether it keeps your code, and accountability is unclear when something goes wrong.
Hong Kong is not on Anthropic's supported list, so neither an official plan, a Console account nor a relay makes using Claude Code from Hong Kong compliant with Anthropic's terms, and neither route should be described as risk-free. We activate official monthly plans on an account you control, with no relay; never give anyone, including us, your password, one-time code or recovery code.
As of 15 September 2026, Hong Kong is not on Anthropic's supported countries and regions lists for the API or Claude.ai, and Claude Code's system requirements list "Anthropic supported countries" as a condition of use.

Occasionally hitting the 5-hour session limit: wait for the reset and trim context. A day or two of crunch a month: turn on usage credits with a monthly cap. Hitting the weekly limit for several weeks in a row: move up one plan, e.g. Pro to Max 5x.
